PERRY TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENT
Congratulated for 50 Years of Service
WSAA would like to thank the Perry Township Fire department for its support and congratulate them on FIFTY YEARS of great service to the residents of Perry Township.
The Perry Township Volunteer Fire Department has been expertly and efficiently serving the residents of Perry and Union Township since 1959. The department has 12 fire and rescue apparatus housed in three stations, and most recently added a great new Rescue 5 Ferrara truck.
The department carries an average of 45 members (male & female) and averages more than 700 runs a year. These members are dedicated firefighters, highly trained not only in firefighting, but in water rescue and medical emergencies. Most of these members are your West Side neighbors.
In addition to firefighting and rescue, the department works continually with the community to better educate people in safety and life saving issues. CPR & life saving, fire extinguisher, medical first responder, and children’s fire safety courses are offered. You can read more about the department at www.perryfd.com.
